How do I provide my child with the right first exposure to the sport of golf in Canada?

As a parent, the first thing you can do to help introduce child to golf is to find out where programs are available. Does your son or daughter go to a school that is currently participating in the National Golf in Schools program? Is there a golf facility in your area running an affordable CN Future Links Learn to Play program? Contrary to what you may have heard, golf is not more expensive than other sports. Most golf facilities running CN Future Links programs allow participants to use equipment free of charge. Affordable CN Future Links junior golf clubs available for purchase through our website or your local big-box retail store. The Long Term Player Development (LTPD) Guide tailors a child’s sport development to suit basic principles of growth and maturation, especially during the 'critical' early years of their development.
