British Columbia Golf announces 2013 championship schedule

Dates and host courses for BC's 15 provincial golf championships have been finalized.

After months of planning, British Columbia Golf has announced its 2013 Championship Series schedule and Susan White, Senior Manager of Field Operations with British Columbia Golf, could not be more enthused about the prospects of the 2013 season.

"We are extremely excited for the upcoming 2013 Championship Series. I feel our selection of venues provides a great cross-section of the province," stated White.

Below are the sites and dates for the upcoming season:

BC School Championships

  • A (May 26-28, 2013)- Birchbank GC, Birchbank
  • AA (May 26-28, 2013)- Arbutus Ridge GC, Cobble Hill
  • AAA (May 27-29, 2013)- Crown Isle GR, Courtenay

Men's Mid Amateur

  • June 4-6, 2013 - Ledgeview GC, Abbotsford

Senior Women's Amateur

  • June 18-20, 2013 - Chilliwack G&CC, Chilliwack

Women's Amateur/Mid-Amateur

  • June 25-28, 2013 - Pitt Meadows GC, Pitt Meadows

Junior Girls

  • July 2-5, 2013 - Belmont GC, Langley

Junior Boys

  • July 2-5, 2013 - Revelstoke GC, Revelstoke

111th BC Amateur

  • July 9-12, 2013 - Springs at Radium in Radium Hot Springs & Copper Point GC in Windermere

Senior Men's Amateur

  • July 29-31, 2013 - Eaglepoint GR, Kamloops

Juvenile Boys'/Girls

  • August 20-22, 2013 - Crown Isle GR, Courtenay

Bantam Boys/Girls

  • August 26-27, 2013 - Qualicum Memorial GC, Qualicum Beach

Registration for the events opens on April 1, 2013.
