The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) has announced a partnership with Linx Marketing, operators of two PGA TOUR Canada events in Alberta - the ATB Financial Classic presented by TELUS and The Syncrude Boreal Open presented by AECON.
The partnership will see the creation of the ATB Financial Junior Qualifier and The Syncrude Junior Qualifier with a tournament exemption into each of the aforementioned PGA TOUR Canada events up for grabs.
The ATB Financial Junior Qualifier will take place June 15-16 at The Carstairs Golf Club in Carstairs, AB, while The Syncrude Boreal Junior Qualifier will take place June 8-9, 2013 at RedTail Landing Golf Club in Leduc, AB. Both events will be two-day qualifying events that will award the winner of the Boys 15-19 division with respective tournament exemptions into the PGA TOUR Canada events.
The ATB Financial Classic, presented by TELUS is set to take place at Country Hills Golf Club (Talons Course) in Calgary June 17-23. The Syncrude Boreal Open presented by AECON will take place July 8-14 at Fort McMurray Golf Club in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
“The CJGA is delighted to partner once again with Linx Marketing in 2013 to provide our membership with such a unique opportunity” said Brad Parkins, Chief Operations Officer of the Canadian Junior Golf Association. “Adding The Syncrude Boreal Open to the mix this year provides even greater opportunity for juniors in this country. There is no better way for juniors striving to take their game to the next level than having the chance to play and rub shoulders with professionals in a professional setting.”
