The Golf Canada Foundation supports Canadian students by offering them the opportunity to stay in Canada to continue their post-secondary education.
Since 1982, the Golf Canada (RCGA) Foundation has awarded more than $1.9 million in scholarships to promising young golfers, landscape architects and turfgrass scientists.
Funding for the foundation is provided through generous donations from corporations, golf clubs, associations and individual friends of golf. Golf Canada, the Canadian Seniors Golf Association, ClubLink Corp. and Nu-Gro Corporation continue to play important roles in contributing to our scholarship fund each year.
In addition to providing funds directly to students, the foundation also provides money to Canadian college golf programs through the Canadian University/College Support Program.
Eight universities currently receive $25,000 annually in support of their golf programs and scholarships for student athletes.
