Disappointing Play

Unfortunately, I played very poorly this week and therefore I am not playing this weekend.

As I write this blog sadly I am heading out of Winnipeg. Unfortunately, I played very poorly this week and therefore I am not playing this weekend. It is a tough one to swallow as in my mind this tournament is the biggest one of the year. I think that I put too much pressure on myself this year. I had it going the first day and finished poorly, it was tough as the wind was very challenging and I grinded thru it all day. I knew going into Friday that I needed to shoot par or better. It started out well but a few bad bounces and missed putts left me well outside of the cut line. Looking back on the two days, I definitely tried too hard. It is so hard to treat this event like any other event. I will have to be better at it next year. Moving forward I did hit a lot of nice shots and my putting is feeling solid. Things are looking up, we have a week off and then I will be off to Northwest Arkansas. Its a good course for me and I know that I will be much more relaxed when I tee it up.

CN did a great job of organizing the event this week. They always put on a great party on Friday night. This year the theme was Bourbon Street in New Orleans. It was a very cool night and everyone enjoyed themselves and got down on the dance floor.

To all my fans and people who wrote emails and blogs thank you for all the support this week. I really appreciate it!!
