Former Team Canada members excel at LPGA Qualifying School
Rebecca Lee-Bentham shares co-medalist honours

It was a great week for three former Team Canada members at the Final Stage of LPGA Qualifying School for the 2013 season.
Rebecca Lee-Bentham of Richmond Hill, Ont., fired a bogey free final round, 5-under par, 67 to share co-medalist honors with Moriya Jutanugarn. Stephanie Sherlock of Barrie, Ont., also secured full time playing status for the 2013 season after her 10th place finish while Sue Kim of Langley, B.C., earned conditional status after finishing tied for 32nd.

As a former member of Team Canada Bentham, the 2010 Royale Cup Junior Ladies
Champion and also the 2011 Royale Cup Canadian Women’s Amateur Champion,
tweeted out she was wearing her Golf Canada Team Canada hat in the final
round.

Throughout the week both Bentham and Sherlock received an outpouring of support via the web from fellow players, fans and media.

With Bentham’s co-medalist honours, she joins Izzy Beisiegel and A.J. Eathorne as the only other two Canadians to medal at Q-School.
