FOR THE GOLFER WHO HAS EVERYTHING: "Excelling in automotive quality, design and superior driving experience..." "...double wishbone front suspension and rigid chassis that ensure smooth handling."
No, it's not an advert for the latest high end sports car. Instead, it's the description of The Garia, the world's most expensive golf cart. Produced in the same factory that builds the Porsche Boxter, the drive train is built by the Italian company who supplies gearboxes for Ducati racing motorcycles. It comes with hand-stitched leather seats and a fridge... and the newest model, the Garia LSV, is fitted with street legal safety equipment which means you can take it out on the road with a top speed of 50 km/h.
Price tag? A mere $61,000 and change should do the trick.

1-MILLION AND COUNTING: Ian Poulter joined the millionaires club on Twitter last weekend. As far as we know, he's only the second golfer to reach the milestone (Stewart Cink has more than 1.2-million followers, according to twitaholic ).
Poulter is one of the more refreshing reads on the 140-character social media application. In a recent exchange in which he asked followers to send questions in for Justin Rose to answer, Paul Azinger - a fellow twitter user - came up with this ditty
Hey..@Ianjamespoulter Is it to late to ask a question? I was busy polishing this. http://yfrog.com/n8poexj zinger I love it!
The "this" he was referring to was the Ryder Cup trophy the American's won last time out. To which Poulter responded:
@Paulazinger I'm so glad you're cleaning that Ryder cup trophy we don't want to lift a dirty one. : )
Poulter has a ways to go to catch Lady Gaga, who claims almost 6-million users on Twitter.

59 WATCH: It's been a while since I heard about someone shooting 59... University of Kansas product Gary Woodland is the latest player to toy with breaking 60 in a PGA TOUR-related event. Last Monday, Woodland posted an 11-under-par 60 at the Links at Kahite outside Knoxville during the open qualifier for the Knoxville News Sentinel Open. He had a 20-foot eagle putt on his final hole to post 59.

ROCCO RETURNS HOME: Rocco Mediate will be a headliner when he returns home to Western Pennsylvania for the Mylan Classic, marking his very first Nationwide Tour start.
The 47-year-old joined the PGA TOUR in 1986, four years before the Nationwide Tour was launched. He has competed in 588 TOUR events and earned almost $15.5 million, winning five times. Mediate is eligible for the Mylan Classic as he did not qualify for the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup.

SHARK WATCH: Fifty-five-year-old Greg Norman is scheduled to tee it up at the Omega European Masters on the European Tour this week. It will be his first tournament in 12 months after undergoing shoulder surgery last year.
---
WATSON ON A ROLL: Tom Watson, who will celebrate his 61st birthday on Saturday, has a streak of 12 straight scores of par or better at the Home Care & Hospice First Tee Open at Pebble Beach.

FINAL WORD:
"It's really hard to compare right now to when I was younger because I can't remember back that far." - Senior Tour player Bernhard Langer, who has won three times in the last five tournaments.
