Steele returns to the Amateur Squad following a strong senior year at Sam Houston State highlighted by his win at the 2020 Border Olympics. The Kingston, Ont. native had an accomplished career as a Bearcat and was notably named to the All-Region Team in 2020, recognizing the top collegiate golfers at the NCAA
Division 1 level.

Q: What are some of your nicknames?
My college coach started calling me “Snowdog” when I got to school.

Q: How did you get into golf?
Growing up, I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to play many different sports. I was first introduced to the game of golf when I was about 6 years old. Golf ended up being a small part of a sport’s camp that I attended and I loved it! Soon after, I was playing a 9 hole, par 3 course with my Poppa every Saturday.

Pretty simple, a black dot on the top of the ball that I point upwards when I putt.

I have an older sister Sydni, who is 26.

I played drums for about 8 years up until the middle of High School.

I try to like them all, but probably anything on the Assault Bike.

Probably the amount of snacks I have.
