HAMPTON, NB—The final stop on the 2026 NextGen Championship series rolls into the Hampton Golf Club in Hampton, N.B. from July 14 – 16 for the 2026 NextGen Atlantic Championship.
The 54-hole stroke play competition gets underway with a practice round on Monday, July 13, and championship rounds beginning on Tuesday, July 14. After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the top 56 Junior Boys and top 14 Junior Girls, including ties, for the final round which wraps up on Thursday, July 16.
The tournament will serve as the final opportunity for players to qualify for their respective 2026 Canadian Junior Championships through the NextGen Championship circuit.
The top six players in the Junior Boys division of the NextGen Atlantic Championship will earn exemptions into the 2026 Canadian Junior Boys Championship, August 10-14, at Wascana Country Club in Regina, Saskatchewan. The top six players (including ties) in the Junior Girls division of the NextGen Atlantic Championship will earn exemptions into the 2026 Canadian Junior Girls Championship, August 10-14, at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley (Heathlands Course) in Caledon, Ontario.
The top three players (including ties) per division in the 2026 NextGen Atlantic Championship will earn exemptions into the 2026 Canadian U15 Championship, August 24-27, at Loyalist Country Club in Bath, Ontario, if age eligible.
Cole Stewart of Fall River, N.S. will look to defend his title after winning the boys division by three shots last year for his first win on the NextGen Championship series.

About the NextGen Championships
The NextGen Championships are a high-performance junior golf series which totals six competitions. From May to July, six championships will take place across Canada where the region’s best junior golfers will compete to earn exemptions into their respective 2026 national junior championships. NextGen Championships provide junior players an opportunity to develop and showcase their skills at the highest level of tournament golf.
