Third playing of the collegiate invitational will feature women’s NCAA Division I golf programs along with 2027 Canadian University/College Championship winners
RIDGEWAY, Ont. – Golf Canada is proud to announce that the third playing of the Women’s Canadian Collegiate Invitational will be held at the Cherry Hill Club in Ridgeway, Ont. set to take place September 19-21, 2027.

Cherry Hill is a phenomenal golf course that will present the players with an enjoyable challenge and a welcoming charm,” said Mary Beth McKenna, Director, Amateur Championships, Golf Canada. “I would like to thank the Club and its Membership for its continued partnership with Golf Canada. We are confident that Cherry Hill will provide a memorable experience for the collegiate players and those competing in the Team Canada – NextGen Selection Camp.”
The 54-hole tournament will feature NCAA Division I women’s golf teams along with the 2027 Canadian University/College Championship winners and individual players competing at Cherry Hill. For the third consecutive year the invitational will be co-hosted by the University of Michigan and Kent State University.
The individual champion will receive an exemption into the 2028 CPKC Women’s Open and the top five players will receive exemptions into the 2028 Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship, presented by BDO.

Yesterday, the Virginia Cavaliers won the Canadian Collegiate Invitational at Beacon Hall Golf Club in Aurora, Ont. Virginia’s Jaclyn LaHa earned individual honours after defeating Anna Davis (Auburn) in a one-hole playoff.
In 2025, the Auburn Tigers came from behind to claim the inaugural team championship while
Veronika Kedroňová of Roznov pod Radhostem, Czechia (Kent State) completed the wire-to-wire victory to win the individual competition.
The 2027 Women’s Canadian Collegiate Invitational will begin with a practice round on Sunday, September 19 with the 54-hole stroke play tournament commencing on Monday, September 20 with 36 holes and wrap up with 18 holes on Tuesday, September 21. The team component will feature five members per team with the top four scores for the round counting towards the overall team score.
Additionally, the Team Canada – NextGen Girls Selection Camp will run concurrently with the Women’s Canadian Collegiate Invitational as a field of Canada’s best junior girls compete for one secured spot on the 2028 Team Canada – NextGen roster.
As previously announced, the 2027 Men’s Canadian Collegiate Invitational will be moving to Beacon Hall after being contested for the past three years at Öviinbyrd Golf Club in Foot’s Bay, Ont.
The full field for both the Women’s Canadian Collegiate Invitational and Team Canada – NextGen Selection Camp will be announced prior to the tournament next September.
