SHE PLAYS GOLF – ATLANTIC

The Atlantic She Plays Golf festival – a celebration of golf for women and girls – will take place across Moncton from September 9 – 13, 2025.

Festival Elements

  • Try Golf Partner Event: A Try Golf event delivered at the championship host course specifically for partners and their clients and contacts.​
  • On-Course Golf 101: A 9-hole round of golf where each group is joined by a volunteer, and golfers learn the basics of how to play a round on their own following the necessary rules & etiquette.​
  • Learn to Scramble: A 9-hole scramble for women and girls new to the game, Introducing the scramble format and building confidence for participation in other corporate and scramble events.

    Golf & Tacos Social Club 

    • A women-first digital community that allows you to connect with other golf gals and get comfortable hitting the green at your own pace. 

    The Fundamentals Golf Program 

    • A 6-week online program led by Coach Shayain to help you gain the skills and confidence to participate in any golf event.

  • Junior Leagues, Lessons & Programs

    First Tee – Atlantic 

    • Sessions for youth that seamlessly integrate the game of golf with character building, with coaches providing an introduction to junior golf while also preparing participants for life ahead. Visit website for a full list of locations.

    Youth On Course New Brunswick

    • A Golf Canada program where participating courses offer up blocks of tee times throughout the week for Youth on Course members to play for $5 or less. Memberships cost $59.95 for a full 12 month Golf Canada membership, with the benefit of having access to Youth on Course at various courses in Ontario. Visit website for a full list of locations. 

    Carman Creek Junior Golf Camp

    • Carman Creek’s Junior Golf Camp offers a fun, welcoming environment where young golfers return year after year. Led by Head Instructor and Coach Terran Newell, the program focuses on learning through play while building skills in etiquette, safety, and discipline—so fun, they won’t even realize they’re learning! 
  • Women’s Leagues, Lessons & Programs

    New To Golf Series  

    • Golf NB’s New to Golf Series is designed to grow the game by offering accessible, beginner-friendly clinics for women, men, and juniors across New Brunswick. For just $11.50 (free for juniors), participants receive expert instruction, use of clubs, and range balls in fun, small-group sessions. Lessons cover the basics—from grip and stance to swing and club use—and are led by certified instructors.

    Head Start Ladies (Moncton)

    • This four-week program is perfect for beginner or returning adult golfers looking to build confidence and enjoy the game with family and friends. Each session includes personalized instruction, practice time, green fees at Mountain Woods Golf Club, and an online follow-up with coach Sébastien. Participants will learn how to use every club, along with key golf rules and etiquette—all in a relaxed, supportive setting. 

    Ladies Beginner Clinics At Moncton Golf Club

    • Perfect for new golfers, this clinic covers the fundamentals of the game with weekly sessions on putting, chipping, pitch shots, and full swings—ending with an on-course tutorial to learn golf etiquette and how to play.

    Monday Ladies Clinics At Connolly Golf Acadamy 

    • The Monday Ladies Clinics run from May 17 to August 30 and offer a small-group setting with a maximum of four women per session. Open to all skill levels, the program covers all aspects of the game in a fun, interactive, and supportive environment, with three convenient time slots available.

    • Carman Creek offers a relaxed, affordable, and fun golf experience designed specifically for women of all skill levels. With top-rated programs led by Teaching Professional Cameron McNeil, ladies enjoy a welcoming atmosphere, a user-friendly course, and expert instruction that makes learning the game enjoyable and pressure-free.

FAQ’s

  • Can I come to this event if I have no golf experience?

    Yes! All levels are welcome, but these events are geared towards beginners and new golfers. 

  • Can I attend alone, or do I need a team/foursome?

    Yes! Friends and family members are more than welcome to attend. You do not need a foursome to participate—whether you come with a group or on your own, you’ll have a great time. If you’re attending solo, we’ll be happy to pair you with others. 

  • Is there a fee to participate?

    Some events may have a small fee to participate. We encourage you to check out the events you’re interested in on the festival webpage for details on any applicable fees. 

  • What should I wear to this event? 

    Golf-specific attire is welcome but not required for this event. We will be outdoors, so we recommend wearing comfortable sneakers and athletic attire that is suitable for the weather.  

  • Do I need to bring my own golf clubs?

    No, participants are not expected to have their own golf clubs, all equipment will be provided for this event! You are welcome to bring your own golf clubs if you would like. 

  • How will I know where to go once I arrive? 

    When you arrive at the facility, make your way through the parking lot and look out for the ‘She Plays Golf’ signs. We will be there to greet you!  

  • What can I expect at the event?

    Upon arriving at the venue, park and walk towards the clubhouse (the building usually located next to the parking lot). Look for signage and friendly faces wearing She Plays Golf apparel who will point you towards the check-in desk. Once participants have arrived, the event will kick off with introductions, run of show and instructions. After the golf component wraps up, there will be a social event providing participants the opportunity to reflect on their experience and socialize with other participants.
