About
Golf Canada’s mission is to better the lives of Canadians through participation and excellence in golf. A key focus is expanding opportunities for women and girls through innovative, female-focused programming. Golf Canada is committed to fostering a positive environment for golf that is reflective of women’s distinct journey with the game. Through “She Plays Golf”, a multifaceted women’s participation strategy, Golf Canada leads several key initiatives to grow the game:
- Festivals – Events that put fun first, designed to introduce women and girls to golf in a welcoming, supportive environment.
- Championship Series – A professional tour that provides aspiring Canadian women golfers with a platform to develop their skills and compete on the path to the LPGA Tour here in Canada.
- Women in Coaching – A program aimed at increasing gender diversity among high-performance coaches to better reflect and support the Canadian golf community through in-depth career development and training experience.
By investing in both grassroots participation and professional development, Golf Canada continues to create meaningful pathways for women in golf while staying true to its mission of growing the game for all Canadians.
